Try rice milk in your tea - you need to put a fair amount of it in but it tastes way nicer than soya milk!

I hope your quest to cut out dairy has been going well. I can honestly say that I've never felt better since ditching milk products! No illness, no lethargy, I feel brilliant!

About time an airline took this common sense step. Hopefully the next one will be flying without fossil fuels.

Just read your blog about The Cove. Did you know they covered the dolphin slaughter in a recent episode of South Park? This clip follows a scene where Stan's swimming with dolphins at the aquarium and the Japanese come storming in and massacre the lot.

It's definitely a difficult one. As a 'country girl' I've never seen the harm in using any fur or hide of an animal if it's a bi-product of the farming industry; whether that be due to food (leather, sheep skin), pest control (fox and rabbit fur) or culling to maintain natural habitats (deer). I've always believed that if we have a right to kill animals, then out of respect we should make the best use of the life that we've taken, and not just use the bits we want and throw away the rest.
The Peta video I agree is truely terrible and I've never been an advocate of breeding animals for fur alone. Can we condem these practices and yet justify our own? Maybe a blanket ('scuse the pun) ban on all fur is the only way to stmap out these practices. And although I agree that burning all the vintage fur in circulation would be environmentally unsound maybe destroying it and removing it from 'acceptable fashion' would prevent the next generation as seeing it as a desirable product?

Agree about Nick Knowles – what is he doing presenting this programme?! You might as well as have had Handy Andy or Carol Smillie. I think Anna deserved to win, but I did feel a bit sorry for Alan in the end. Do you think the BBC deliberately got him to sit in front of the TV on his own with an individual meal for one? And when that bloke with the Village People 'tache asked him if he liked wildlife more than girls...Well, that was a bit mean!

I too am enraged at your decision to have a pop at the Bourbon. I see it as the backbone of the chocolate biscuit family. Otherwise, a very interesting article. I will be sure to think again next time I have a dunk.
